PW 5000 Pallet Changer & Exchanger
Pallet changing requiring the highest hygiene standards
The PW 5000 from Baust can be loaded from both ends and be utilized as a sluice in cleanroom areas requiring hygienic separation. This makes the pallet changer indispensable, particularly in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The PW 5000 pushing method can exchange damaged or non-hygienically designed pallets easily even when the goods are particularly sensitive and/or there are gaps in the load configuration.

Pallet changing with the PW 5000 | Exchanger
The PW 5000 is deployed in those areas where hygienic separation is necessary. The black and white zones are clearly separated from each other. The front and rear doors open in order to load and unload the pallets. The optional lock gates protect the cleanroom area from dirt and other external factors. Simultaneously they ensure optimum airflow. Two conveyor lifting mechanisms combined with 2 pairs of sliding plates and 2 pneumatic flexible sidewalls ensure a perfect and gentle transfer from the source pallet to the slightly lower positioned target pallet.
