Good quality wheels. Smooth rolling for a very heavy duty plant stand. Locks work easily. The amusing surprise is the included flat bladed screw driver and the screw packet with Phillips head screws. Happy customer – kept the screw driver.

I have these casters installed on a shop-made workbench with all 4 wheels “locked” yet it is still able to slide across my floor freely.

Not only does the locking mechanism not actually lock these wheels in place, but it is terribly difficult to “unlatch” the locking foot pedal when it is engaged. I have to get on my hands and knees and pry it back open with a screwdriver!

As described; 4 heavy duty swivel casters with locking brakes. Included a magnetic tip Philips screwdriver and mounting hardware. Compared with other sets of all swivel casters I have purchased in the past these really have heavier/thicker metal brackets for the price. The axles are through hex bolts with nyloc nuts, not riveted pins. Ball bearing swivels look securely enclosed and everything operates smoothly. The locking brakes are a plus, but I’m not using them at the moment. Using these casters on a 20″ x 14″ plywood base to store 3-4 bins (+/- 100 lbs.) of car parts out of the way in my basement. I got tired of sliding the bins about. Doing my part, as other reviews have helped me in the past.

I ordered 2 sets of 4 of these locking caster wheels for a kayak storage cart my husband and I made. We put them on the bottom of the storage cart on each corner plus the other 4 wheels centered about 7 inches back between the corners for extra support of the 2 kayaks and paddleboard. I can lock the corners and leave the others unlocked. The cart moves around freely when wheels are unlocked, but it stays in place when corner wheels are locked. These wheels were perfect for our project. The cart is only being used on our cement patio – I don’t think these wheels would work well on grass or ground.

I used these to build a custom dolly to move around my weight distribution trailer hitch. The thing weighs 50-ish pounds and is an odd shape. I wanted to have a custom dolly for it so I could move it around with ease.

I built the dolly out of some scrap 2×4 I had. I marked and pre-drilled all the holes. The screws were thin and brittle, I wasn’t going to use them, but tested them on a piece of scrap. Even with pre-drilling, they snapped off. I saved the washers. I replaced the screws with 1-1/2 #10 Spax screws.

After screwing them on, I put the hitch on the dolly. I was able to slide it around like it was gliding on ice! The locks work well, but you more or less need to get on then ground and grab it with both hands to open again.

Overall, I’m really happy. I would buy these again for another similar project.

I ordered these for a cabinet for my woodworking shop. I wanted to see how the quality and look were before ordering 10 sets for all my cabinets. I was very pleased. They come simply wrapped, with a screwdriver to help with installation! The packaging is simple, but the contents were of amazingly high quality. I’ve taken some photos of the contents and a closeup of the wheels. I’ll be finishing my cabinet next week and will post photos of them on the cabinet and update my review. Right now I’m so glad I didn’t go to Lowes or Home Depot. These are less expensive and of much higher quality than anything I’ve seen in any big box store. The “tire” is of very firm rubber, NOT plastic. The wheel spins and rolls freely when unlocked. When locked it doesn’t move at all, in any direction. I can see where the brakes (extruded metal) will wear down the tires over time, but for the price, that’s not a deal-breaker and it would take thousands of uses to really impact it. The locking mechanism is easily engaged and released by hand or with your foot if you’re not wearing bulky boots. Sneakers or similar would be fine. I’m pleased. I would highly recommend!

For the $ – these impress. I have 250 lbs on 4 and it rolls around easily – just a few days, but the build quality seems tough. The locking mech is easy to engage and it really holds hard. Unlocking is a bit challenging (I have to bend over some times if the wheel swivels under my bench), but I’d rather have a solid lock over an easy unlock. And now I have a little x-tip that I keep with my router.
